FWTS **Chapter 113: The Ten-Thousand-People Concert**

On the 18th, Hou Muyun had already flown from Shanghai to Shenzhen. The last episode of "Music War," the ten-thousand-people concert, would be broadcast live to the audience on December 20th, and the venue was the same as the one used for the Double Eleven Gala.

This concert would have an audience of over 25,000 people, possibly reaching 30,000, making it a medium-to-large scale concert. The entry was through ticket purchase. The show's influence aside, the star power of the five celebrity mentors alone made the ticket worth it—they were all experts at live performances!

In addition to the five celebrity mentors, the program also invited a guest mentor, Zhang Jian, a top-tier female singer in the Chinese music scene.

Hou Muyun flew in with Shi Shiwuwu. By the time they arrived, many of the contestants who made it to the final concert had already started rehearsing with the on-site band. There were ten contestants in total who made it to the final concert, with only one other contestant, like Hou Muyun, having succeeded in a second challenge. The rest had mostly succeeded on their first try or had used their direct access card after failing a second challenge.

Upon arrival, Hou Muyun was scheduled to rehearse last, so he joined the band.

"Little Hou, give us some input on this song's arrangement."

"Little Hou, cover the guitar part here."

The band members were familiar with Hou Muyun, several of whom had helped him with instrument arrangements in Shanghai. Naturally, Hou Muyun gladly helped, staying busy.

"Monkey," Liu Zhuo, who was discussing an arrangement with Hou Muyun, suddenly asked, "I heard some folks went to Shanghai to help you with instrument arrangements. Did you really make a song? How's the production? Need any help?"

Hou Muyun smiled, "I pushed Shi Fifteen hard for a few days and managed to get it done."

Liu Zhuo: "Looks like you're serious about it. When are you planning to release it?"

Hou Muyun grinned, raising his eyebrows, "Liu Ge, the song is fully produced. When do you think is the best time for a premiere?"

Understanding immediately, Liu Zhuo laughed, realizing that Hou Muyun had planned to use the concert for his premiere, "You're really something! No wonder you rushed it out. Once they finish rehearsing, let us listen to it. If it's good, I'll speak to the showrunners for you."

Hou Muyun bowed, "Thank you, Liu Ge!"

Liu Zhuo laughed.

Other contestants had been preparing for this concert for a long time. Their song choices were finalized, and only minor adjustments to the arrangements were needed, so rehearsals went quickly.

After the contestants rehearsed, the band took a break.

By this time, the celebrity mentors had finished recording their "mutual song selection" segment, where they would perform each other's songs during the concert.

"Monkey, I heard from Shi Fifteen that you really released a new song!"

"And you plan to premiere it at the ten-thousand-people concert? You sure know how to pick your moments!"

"Come on, let us hear it first!"

Even the director, Jiang Dao, and producer, Qian Zong, were intrigued, "Yes, let's hear it first. If it's suitable, you can perform your song!"

Hou Muyun knew that Shi Fifteen and others had already paved the way with the showrunners.

A few minutes later, after listening to the original version of Hou Muyun's new song, everyone except Shi Fifteen widened their eyes.

"This is really your work?"

"You wrote the lyrics, composed, and arranged it all by yourself?"

"Are you sure Shi Fifteen didn't help?"

"Damn, you're incredible!"

"This song's lyrics, composition, and arrangement are all top-notch, and your singing is excellent."

"Wasn't Monkey learning composition from Shi Fifteen and the Zhang duo recently? How did he produce such a song so quickly?"

"Shi Fifteen and the Zhangs must be really talented teachers, or maybe Monkey is just exceptionally talented!"

"Monkey King, you have to write at least one song, no, two songs for my next album!"

Listening to the mentors' praise, Hou Muyun grinned and then eagerly looked at Director Jiang and Producer Qian.

Director Jiang and Producer Qian, being connoisseurs themselves, recognized the mentors' genuine praise and also appreciated Hou Muyun's song. After exchanging a glance, Director Jiang said, "Hou, you can perform this song, but we have a few conditions."

Hou Muyun: "Please go ahead."

Director Jiang: "You've seen the concert's program flow. After the mentors' performances, there will be a draw to pair up the contestants for the final PK to determine the season's ultimate winner. You won't participate in the PK but will perform as a special contestant, singing two songs in total. Additionally, in the next season of 'Music War,' you'll have to make a guest appearance in the first episode as an honorary returnee to open the season and also perform at the next ten-thousand-people concert."

Understanding that the showrunners were pre-booking him for two performances, Hou Muyun had no reason to hesitate and agreed, "Thank you, Director Jiang. This stage means a lot to me. It's an honor to have the chance to return!"

Director Jiang was pleased.

Singing a song live was just singing a song. As long as it sounded good, it was fine.

Using the ten-thousand-people concert as a launch platform was highly advantageous for Hou Muyun and provided a significant highlight for the show—a win-win situation!

Naturally, the showrunners took the opportunity to secure two future performances from Hou Muyun.

Next, Hou Muyun joined the band to finalize the arrangements for the ten songs the mentors would perform at the concert.

After completing the arrangements, Hou Muyun participated in filming the promotional clips and other related shoots.

On the 19th, he spent most of the day in his hotel room, writing and drawing comics.

Zhang Jian arrived on the 20th, only needing a single rehearsal since she would be singing her own songs without needing arrangement work.

On the morning of the 20th, Hou Muyun and the others did a run-through of the rehearsal.

By 6 PM, the audience began to enter the venue.

Unlike previous recordings, this concert attracted many fans of the five mentors and Zhang Jian, who brought support items like light boards. There were also fans of the contestants, with Hou Muyun's supporters standing out the most.

The support items for Hou Muyun were clearly different in style from others'. While some fans had name and love expression signs, many others held signs with messages like "Monkey Rocks," "Streamer 666," "Streamer is Perfect," "Student Card Activated," and "Sky Team is Here."

Someone even had the idea to hand out glow-in-the-dark Monkey King staffs, making it look like a crowd fresh out of Flower Fruit Mountain. There were even large glowing monkey balloons…

How they managed to get those items in was impressive!

By 8 PM, the venue was packed, and the production team and staff were ready.

At 8:10 PM, Blue Whale TV started broadcasting the prepared clips, first recapping key moments from the show's run, highlighting the ten contestants who made it to the final concert, followed by the mentors' promo videos and their mutual song selection.

At exactly 8:30 PM, the broadcast switched to the live concert.

Hua Shao, as the host, was the first to take the stage.
